Lake Guy Sound Walk

In 2014 I participated in a Sound and the Environment Masterclass at Bogong Centre for Creative Sound Culture. During my time there I participated in a sound walk around Lake Guy.

Afterwards I made a recording of my reflections on the sound environment encountered on the walk and the impact that far off decision making has on the acoustic environment. This recording is complete with background textures recorded inside the cavity of a huge dam wall

This resulted in a 13 minute sound installation that was exhibited at the ANU gallery as part of the group show called "The Walks".

This exhibition was part of a 3 day symposium called "Talking the Walk/Walking the Talk"  in which I also gave a presentation in collaboration with Curator from the National Museum of Australia, George Main.
