​Vic McEwan is Artistic Director of The Cad Factory, a space he established in 2005 in Marrickville NSW as an alternative to the usual options for musicians to present music in Sydney.

Since that time, The Cad Factory has run numerous programs including a 10 evening series of live music and art parties, a "Remote Spaces" series of performance in abandoned remote spaces, a rural residency program and more.
