Shadows and Consequences was an exhibition of artworks created during multiple residencies in Falls Creek between 2018-2024 responding to an indepedent report that warned of impending major climate impacts on the alpine region. Through photography, video, sound and interactive installation, this exhibition honours local residents by exploring the complex relationship between people and their surrounding environment. It explores how understanding our connection to a particular place, might prepare us to face the complex challenges that lie ahead. The images below were created by projecting photographic images onto environmental conditions such as Clouds, Fog and Snow.

Shadows and Consequences #1 - Cloud Portraits.

These images were created by taking photographic portraits of long term residents of the Victorian Alps, and then projecting those images onto clouds from the top of Mt Mckay, the highest driveable point in Australia, and rephotographed.
