Roadside Frequencies

A performance for unsuspecting passing traffic.

 

Victoria Hunt, Vic McEwan, an upright piano and an illuminated plastic gown embedded on top of two dam walls.

An installation on the horizon with audio being transmitted to passing cars through radio frequencies. An unexpected snippet of performative installation on a long journey.

Devised by Vic McEwan, this project was about embedding unsuspecting performance, and creating new viewpoint and to create new lived histories for local landscape using involved in Industrial agriculture.

Vic installed his upright piano on one dam wall whilst Victoria Hunt danced in a long gown made from industrial plastic made by Sarah McEwan
