As part of the Tate Exchange program, I have just returned from being in residence at The Tate Liverpool, sharing work in development from The Harmonic Oscillator project. This opportunity turned out to be one of the most profound sharing of work I have ever experienced. I had one visitor to the exhibition fall into my arms, crying; and I spent many long conversations with people in tears, but thankful for the depth of emotion that the work enabled in them.
I'm still working out how to share the depth of this experience, or even if I need to. The Harmonic Oscillator will continue and work will be shown in Narrandera and Sydney throughout 2017.
